An adventure to the northern hill tribe areas of Vietnam where over thirty very friendly and colorful tribes have made their living for hundreds of years. Students will trek through the hills and villages of this fantastically beautiful area. Some topics covered will be anthropology, general science and ecology, astronomy, history and philosophy.

Students will be involved in fun and exciting team building activities, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with hill tribe communities and students in a community service project which will help improve the lives of hill tribe children.
VIETNAM SUMMARY ITINERARY

Day # 1 Arrival Hanoi International; Easy afternoon and relax; night in Hanoi
Day # 2 Hanoi and country biking; Ethnographic museum, night train to Sapa
Day # 3 Sapa arrival and resort check-in; relax; trek to Hmong Village; waterfall; dinner and night in resort
Day # 4 Sapa: Team building in village of Lao Chai; Trek; Meet and Q & A with Dzay tribe in afternoon; Evening performance in village; Night in Hill tribe village
Day # 5 Sapa: Other activities; Community Service: Work with the local kids all day; late afternoon drive to town
Day # 6 25th Sapa: Leave Sapa for Coc Ly Fair Market; Afternoon boat trip on Chay River; Drive to Lao Cai and spend a couple of hours in this border town; Train to Hanoi
Day # 7 Arrival Hanoi; shopping; Departure from Hanoi International
