Republic of Turkey

Turkey with a population of 75 million is a very large country that straddles both Europe and Asia. It would take several lifetimes to explore. It is a country with tremendous historical significance, stretching back over many millennia.

The people are friendly and hospitable and very proud of their heritage. 50% of the population live in cities with the rest being in rural farming areas. 99% of the people are Muslim. Gamal Ataturk, “ Father of the Turks,” brought Turkey into the fold of progressive and modern civilized nations.


An adventure to the northern hill tribe areas of Vietnam where over thirty very friendly and colorful tribes have made their living for hundreds of years. Students will trek through the hills and villages of this fantastically beautiful area. Some topics covered will be anthropology, general science and ecology, astronomy, history and philosophy.

Cambodia, only a very short hop away from modern Thailand, is one of the most beautiful countries in Southeast Asia. Though it has had a tumultuous history, Cambodia remains a fascinating and unspoiled country.

This is one of the most exotic countries in the world, situated in the largest and most formidable mountain range on Earth. The Himalayas ("Home of the Snow") of Nepal have 8 of the world's 14 highest mountains.

The Himalayan ranges of northeast India provide exciting opportunities for students to have extensive exposure to one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. Challenging activities

The mythological site of the Garden of Eden, Sri Lanka is a lush tropical gem suspended off the southern coast of India. Students who travel to Sri Lanka go southwest to the coastal area of Hikkaduwa.

An expedition to the mountain and tribal areas of northern Thailand is a very exciting and fun filled experience for students. Students will participate in exciting team building activities which will challenge each student
